The Los Angeles Police Department has named a 29-year old man, Eric Holder as the suspect behind the murder of rapper Nipsey Hustle.
He was declared wanted early Tuesday for the homicide of Nipsey Hustle who was shot in front of his store in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Los Angeles.
The rapper was among four people standing by a car when the suspect opened fire outside the store, according to video from a surveillance camera. Nipsey died in the shooting while the other two were taken to the hospital.
The suspect is believed to have fired multiple times and then ran to a nearby alley where a getaway vehicle, driven by an unidentified man, was waiting.
In a statement on Twitter, the Police department said the suspect was last seen in a white, four-door, 2016 Chevy Cruze, with the California licence plate 7RJD742.
“Anyone with information related to his whereabouts or this deadly shooting is urged to contact South Bureau Homicide at 323-786-5100.” the statement added.

Nipsey, whose birth name is Ermias Davidson Asghedom, founded the record label All Money In 2010 and also released a mixtape, “The Marathon,”. He released another mixtape, “Crenshaw” in 2013.
He also opened a Clothing smart store at 3420 W. Slauson Avenue in Los Angeles. He also owned The Marathon Agency, SC Commercial Ventures, Proud 2 Pay and All Money In No Money Out Records, according to Press Atlantic Records.
He was nominated for the “Best Rap Album” at the last Grammys but lost to Cardi B.
