LAGOS, MARCH 22ND, 2019— Lancôme Paris treated its partners and influencers in Nigeria to a garden-
themed Parisian brunch at The Tea Room, Lagos to give them a sneak peek of the La Vie Est Belle
fragrance.
Following the success of its My Shade My Power Campaign in Lagos, The French leader in cosmetics
continues to forge meaningful relationships with leading ladies in Nigeria. In line with its declaring
happiness theme for 2019, Lancôme gifted 70 game changers its La Vie Est Belle fragrance to put a smile
on their faces for International Women’s Day.


Celebrating leaders, influencers, and those who support them, the event brought together a vibrant and
enthusiastic group of ladies. Surrounded by hundreds of stunning roses and a breathtaking view, the
crowd included Betty Irabor, Waje, Powede Awujo, Michelle Dede, Folake Coker and others.
The Tea Room was transformed into a gorgeous garden overflowing with flowers. Brunch kicked off with
a welcome address from Lancôme Product Manager – New Markets- Suzie Meyer which was followed by
a quick masterclass by Head International Make Up Artist and Trainer- David Coranson Beaudu doing
live demonstrations while guests were served champagne, exotic cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. Guests
were welcomed by Parisian Chic styled hostesses true to Lancôme standards.


In his masterclass, David demonstrated how to create a nude look as seen on Julia Roberts for the La vie
Est Belle campaign. He also demonstrated how to use the complete Teinte Idole Life proof set (Prep &
Matte, Blur & go, Teinte Idole Ultra Wear Foundation, Long Time No Shine, & finally, the Fix It Forget It
Spray). David completed his masterclass by spritzing the La Vie Est Belle En Rose fragrance on his model.
The ladies were treated to a French inspired brunch, cocktails, and champagne while they networked
and basked in the euphoria of flowers. Retail & Education Manager- Hazem Zahrouni then excited the
ladies with “The Olfactive Game” where he challenged the ladies to recognize the scents of the various
La Vie Est Belle fragrances, as well as guess the La Vie Est Belle En Rose scent. After the olfactive game,
Hazem invited the ladies to design a bouquet of their choice, then color the bouquet with Pink Flower
spray paint to explain to the audience the effect of the Peony which is the fragrances key ingredient. In
line with the theme of the day, there was also a floral workshop by Florist- Denike Balogun who showed
the ladies how to put together a bouquet, elongate the life span of fresh flowers, and how to preserve
their bouquets.



Suzie Meyer when speaking about the inspiration behind the garden event said “she wanted to create a
space to exchange, meet and share happiness while creating extraordinary moments for the Nigerian
women.” The CEO of Lancôme’s PR company in Nigeria Glam Brand Agency- Bola Balogun also stated
