The police have sealed off the office of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Walter Onnoghen, according to the PUNCH
The policemen were said to have ejected all the administrative staff in the office and sealed it off around 7am Monday.
One of the sources told Punch: “The police have sealed the office of the CJN. Officers and men of the Force went to the administrative staff offices at about 7am and ordered clerical and other staff who were already at their desks to leave after which they locked up everywhere.”
We reported that the National Judicial Council has fixed Tuesday, 29th of January for deliberation on the matter of the Chief Justice’s suspension and the swearing in of Justice Tanko Muhammad as the Acting CJN by President Buhari.
