Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha has sacked his Chief of Staff and son-in-law Uche Nwosu who is expected to run for the position of governor of the state.
13 commissioners and special advisers were also reportedly, relieved of their jobs.The sack is reportedly to give those affected enough time to prepare for their primaries.
The Imo State Secretary to the State Government, George Eche, and the Deputy Chief of Staff, Kingsley Uju,were also sacked.
