Netflix is a brand that’s concerned about the safety of their members’ accounts, so they have features in place to help their members secure their accounts from threats and additional protections have recently been included to prevent member’s accounts from being breached. One of the measures is that members are notified when a new device logs into their account; they can then take hands-on measures to secure their account by changing their password if the login isn’t one that they authorized. It begins by visiting: Netflix.com/signup or downloading the app on your digital device. Do ensure you use an active email, so you can easily reset your password, receive all information concerning your Netflix account and get all notification alerts in-time in case any unauthorized activity occurs.
During your Netflix account set up, you will be required to set a password. We recommend a password that is unique to Netflix which is 8 characters-long password that is a mix of upper- and lower-case alphabets, numbers, and symbols. What we do not recommend is using personal information like birthdays, addresses or anniversaries.
Something that people tend to do, more often is the password reset. Whether you forgot your password or believe your account is threatened, Netflix has a hassle-free process to achieve your password reset. To change or update your password visit your Account page on the Netflix website, or simply send yourself a password reset email or text message.
Because account security is important to Netflix, your email isn’t the only way you can reset your password- you can also use your mobile devices. To add a number, GO TO Account and then Add phone number. At this point, you will insert your number and password which you will save.
