Oyo State Government re-opens Bodija Market
Oyo State Government has re-opened the popular Bodija market in the State.
The directive was made in a statement signed by the State Commissioner for information, Culture and Tourism, Mr Toye Arulogun, on Saturday.
We reported on Thursday that the Oyo State Government had shut down the market following a clash between Security agencies and Butchers after the Government asked the later to move to another market.
In the statement, the Government said the move was taken after due consideration with security agencies and other stakeholders, and was necessitated by the need to ensure people go about their businesses.
