Manchester United’s Disappointing Performance Ends In 2-0 Loss To Stoke

Manchester United slumped to a 2-0 away loss at the Britannia today in the Barclays Premier League as pressure continues to mount on head coach Louis Van Gaal.

Having previously gone without a win in 5 games, it was always going to be a tall order for such a dismal run to end against Stoke City.

Stoke City have been brilliant at home this season and will have goalkeeper Butland to thank for a series of quality performances.

It has always been difficult for teams to do it on cold hard days at the Brittania and today wasn’t any different.

Goals from Krkic and Arnautovic sunk Manchester United as the visitors looked incapable of creating scoring chances.

United’s cause was not helped by lackluster performances all around, with Herrera, Fellaini and Rooney who was brought in at the break being particularly poor.

There’s increasing speculation that Loius Van Gaal will be shown the door as this marks six games without a win. It is also United’s fourth loss in a row.
