Bomb Scare Causes Turkish Plane To Make Hasty Landing In Canada
A Turkish airline enroute to Turkey from New York was diverted to Eastern Canada to make its landing today.
The diversion was due to a bomb scare after a week of increased fears as the French government continues to hunt down the masterminds of the Paris bombings.
Two flights from New York to Paris were also diverted last week as a result of bomb scares also. Canadian authorities searched the aircraft after the plane landed and found nothing.
The plane has continued to Istanbul with 256 people on board.
