Industry Nite, the popular weekly musical talent show took on a new dimension as leading ICT firm; MTN, stormed the event with the MTN Music+ Next Rated Campaign.
The Next Rated is a digitally driven campaign that provides exposure for upcoming acts via the MTN Music+ App, Nigeria’s largest digital music streaming service. The platform also helps fledging artistes build a fan base for themselves.
Headlined by ‘Back To Sender’ crooner, Jaywon; the night turned out to be a memorable one filled with fun and excitement as various upcoming acts as well as a host of past MTN Project Fame stars thrilled the audience with scintillating performances.
Geoffrey reminded the audience why he emerged winner of the seventh season of the music talent reality show as he entertained the audience with his new latest single, ‘Bursting my Brain’
Goeffrey was not the only MTN project Fame export to perform at the Industry Nite. Shola aka Sholly Fresh, another MTN Project Fame product, also gave a good account of himself with his hit single, ‘Alujo’.
There were also special performances from other artistes like Joel, Seriki and YQ and a host of others who joined show headliner, Jaywon in making the evening an unforgettable one.
The upcoming acts were not left out as they came in their droves to showcase their stuff with different genres of music on display.
The MTN Music+ Next Rated campaign is open to aspiring artistes nationwide. To participate, simply upload your song to the Music+ platform via the Next Rated section; get your friends and family to like your song. The song with the highest Likes each week will be played on MTN partner radio stations.
At the end of the competition, the ten entries with the highest Likes will then be selected and judged by a 5-man panel of MTN ambassadors who will pick the best 5 of the lot. The top 5 songs will be uploaded again for Likes over a one week period where a final winner will emerge.
