20 Killed In Wedding Celebration In Afghanistan

In a week rife with terrorist attack all over the world, Al-Jazeera reports that a wedding in Afghanistan province of Baghlan turned bloody last night.

At what was supposed to be a joyful celebration, gunmen reportedly opened fire on guests, killing 20 people. However, the bride and groom are said to have survived the attack which took place on Sunday evening. The motive for the attack is said to be a rivalry between two families as the gunmen were members of a rival family.

Just a fortnight ago, a suicide bomber killed 33 people in a blast at a military base in Khost.
