Timi Dakolo, winner of Idols West Africa staged a world class performance at the grand finale of the Nigerian edition of the Idols – a performance that convinced all that witnessed the event that he was indeed fully loaded/strapped with the stuff idols are made of.
“I am happy to see Timi at the level of the game he’s on at this point in his career. He has a way of jazzing-up even the most corporate event. He is truly a master of his craft,” says an overjoyed fan present at the idols.
The audience were electrified after Timi Dakolo performed Heaven Please, a track off his soon-to-be-released debut Album titled Beautiful Noise – his much anticipated debut.
The anticipation of Timi Dakolo’s Beautiful Noise heightened after the idol dished out free copies of his hit single Let it shine at a recent autogragh session put together by his Media and PR Managers-Scriptorial Media in partnership with Adeniran Ogunsanya Shopping Mall, Surulere .
However, prior to the release of the single Heaven Please, and the album, Timi Dakolo plans to unveil a brand new single – a politically correct R&B mantra titled There’s A Cry.
According to Timi, There is a Cry bothers on the ills and deprivation of the Niger Delta. “Port Harcourt was a very peaceful place when I was growing up and I miss those days” says Timi who hopes that There is a Cry will not only quicken the healing process of Victims of violence but also echo a loud cry for peace not only in the Niger Delta, but in Africa and the world at large.
According to Scriptorial Media, Timi’s debut album is a perfected blend of soul, R&B and reggae in one electrifying compact disc tagged Beautiful Noise.
Timi still has some other scheduled autograph both on the Mainland and on the Island so fans and critics alike are urged to be on the lookout.
