We were all waiting for this 1, well Daddy Freeze has an opinion on everything and he has just spoken.
Maybe I’m wrong, but I assume this was set up to praise God, not to be a celebrity hangout, where people are busy staying awake to munch comments and see which celebrity is ‘liking’ and ‘commenting’.

Our ‘intentions’ are more substantial than our ‘deeds’, so let me ask you, what’s your intention; do you go there to praise God or to read and munch celebrity comments?

Let’s raise the praise and keep the prayers going. God sees your heart, not your Instagram comments! ~FRZ

Matthew 6:5-6 KJV
[5] And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are : for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. [6] But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

I got extremely put off yesterday evening when my friends tagged me in a post that detailed all the celebrities that commented during the 1 hour midnight praise E-gathering. I also read some comments and got further peeved when a comment read “I’m happy to see that our celebrities are also participating, it means we all need God’
.
I cannot lie that I participate in this challenge daily, sometimes I sleep off, sometimes I’m up doing something else. However, when I participate, it is for me, me alone and God. Now seeing blogs and church websites taking screenshots of celebrity comments and posting it, even so-called-influencers…it felt to me like we have all now found a new hotspot to chill so we can brag about it that “I was there”.

Celebrities are humans, they are not gods, they are not infallible, they have the same problems and insecurities as we all, some have also been guilty of doing a lot of things for the sake of publicity. So when they join the hallelujah challenge, it is not a validation for me, it shouldn’t be for you too. God does not see anyone as a celebrity, He sees His children and answers prayers as such.
