Music duo, R2Bees is set to release their second album, Refuse to Be Broke (Da Revolution II) on Good Friday, March 29.
The group, made up of Faisal Hakeem (Paedae da Pralem) and Rashid Mugeez (Mugeez), is launching the anticipated album at the Silver Lounge, Accra Mall after the huge successes singles from the album have chalked over the past year.
Already, they have released four hit songs off the album with Life, Odoand Bayla earning them nine nominations – including Artiste of the Year and Song of the Year – at this year’s Ghana Music Awards.
The fourth single, It’s Alright off the Refuse to Be Broke (Da Revolution II) album, is a representative of the group’s creativity and passion for music.
Apart from the four songs from the 17-track-album that are enjoying massive rotations on radio, events and the clubs, fans should also expect several hit songs including Rainy Dayand Sweat.
The Da Revolution album released in 2009, had hit songs such Yawa Girl, I Dey Mad, T.E.M.A and Kiss Your Hand. That album featured several artistes including Wande Coal, Sarkodie, Samini and Kwaw Kese.
Fans will have their albums signed at the Friday event and they will also be afforded photo opportunities.
