A man has left many people totally baffled after he shocked mourners by going after a dead neighbour who slept with his wife while alive.
A man left many people shocked after he stormed a funeral and beat up the corpse of his neigbhour who allegedly had s*x with the wife before he died.
The man identified as Tineyi Moyo of Magamba village in Gokwe of Zimbabwe sent mourners into panic mode when he charged into the Dube homestead to assault the corpse of Learnmore Dube.
According to Chief Chireya, who heads the village, Moyo claimed the late neighbour used to sleep with his wife Selina Nyoka and had to take revenge even in death. On the day of the assault, Moyo noticed that his wife was crying and grief stricken following Dube’s death.
Moyo asked his wife what the matter was and she revealed that she was pained by Dube’s passing on, B-Metro reports. Out of curiosity, Moyo questioned his wife who then revealed that she had a relationship with Dube.
A source who attended the funeral spoke to B-Metro and said: “He came to the funeral wake and started insulting everyone who was there and demanded to see Dube’s corpse. He said his wife had confessed to having an illicit affair with Dube,” said the source.
Moyo was arraigned before Chief Chireya’s traditional court for his actions and was asked to pay a fine of three cows to the Dube family for disrespecting them.
Moyo said he was angry after discovering that his neighbour whom he trusted was backstabbing him.
“I was angry after discovering that he was sleeping with my wife. What made me angrier is that the truth came out when he was dead meaning I couldn’t confront him. Therefore, I decided to beat him and honestly I felt better after beating him,” said Moyo
