Former Miss Delaware Teen USA lost her tiara for a meager paycheck, insiders claim. Melissa King, 18, earned only $1,500 for appearing in the erotic video.
Melissa King, 18, earned only $1,500 for appearing in the erotic video that exploded earlier this week, the short clip’s.
“I thought it would be fun and it sounded like I needed the money so I just decided to do it,” said the woman in the video, purported to be King.
The men at GirlsDoPorn.com also said that King, who resigned her title last month, contacted them to shoot the video and was willing to film more scenes. But the porn site decided to stop making videos with King, describing her performance as frigid.
Melissa King denied being the woman in the video, but its makers said they have footage of a woman identifying herself as King reading a release form.
But this surge in visitors likely won’t continue if King decides to pursue a career in the adult video industry. GirlsDoPorn.com might not be able to afford her.
YouPorn.com recently offered the fallen beauty pageant queen $250,000 to travel around the world promoting their website. The offer reportedly does not even require her to have sex on camera.
Other supporters, outside of the porn business, have spoken out in defense of King.
“If it was the beauty queen having sex on camera, it was a bad idea,” wrote journalist Bonnie Goldstein for The Washington Post, “but she can still have a satisfying and productive life. I hope for King that it will unfold in many surprising and wondrous ways, and I wish her good luck.”
