Uber, the innovative app that connects drivers with riders, has partnered with travel app Tastemakers Africa (TSTMKRS), South African Airways (SAA) and Radisson Blu to offer exclusive access to the most glamorous destinations, exhilarating adventures and colourful nightlife in cities across South Africa, Nigeria and Kenya. Winners stand the chance to win a four night experience for two in Kenya, Nigeria, or South Africa!

Africa, a continent like no other with its striking beauty, diverse cultures and exotic nightlife makes for one of the most energetic hubs in the world. For this very reason, Uber is giving the people of Africa an opportunity to become a savvy traveller in their own backyard and giving them a chance to win a trip to one of Africa’s vibrant cities and a number of limited TSTMKRS experiences.

Alon Lits, General Manager for Uber Sub-Saharan Africa explains, “At Uber, we believe that the real magic starts in your very own backyard, which is why we are offering the ultimate reason to explore your city this August. We are thrilled to partner with dynamic companies like TSTMKRS, SAA and Radisson Blu, which help us provide riders with the opportunity to travel over their own borders and experience something unique and exciting in another African country.”

All they need to do is head to their favourite spot in their city from 12 August until 23 August 2016 and share their experience, by posting a photo on Instagram or Twitter, and including the hashtag #SEEKAFRICA. The most unique and creative photos will stand the chance to win one of three insider experiences from TSTMKRS, SAA and Radisson Blu.

“Radisson Blu, the iconic and stylish hotel brand is delighted to partner with travel app Taste Makers Africa, Uber and South African Airways on the #SeekAfrica Campaign. We are excited to partake in the journey and see the phenomenal outcome of the #SeekAfrica campaign, added Marie-Laure Blaise, Senior Area Marketing Manager, Africa & Indian Ocean”

Aaron Munetsi, Acting Chief Commercial Officer at South African Airways adds: “South African Airways, as the leading carrier on the continent, is committed to further connecting Africa. We are also strong believers in innovation – working alongside innovative and dynamic partners like Uber,  TSTMKRS and Radisson Blu is an exciting way to achieve this objective.”

There is nothing better than discovering what your own country has to offer and experiencing amazing opportunities that can’t be done anywhere else. It is time to #SeekAfrica.
