ENTREPRENEURS, AYENI ADEKUNLE, TUNJI OLUGBODI, UBONG KING, STEVE BABAEKO AND FUNKE BUCKNOR-OBRUTHE TO SPEAK AT OSMD’S YOUTH EMPOWERMENT SUMMIT

Top Nigerian CEOs and entrepreneurs have been confirmed to speak at OSMD Network’s inaugural youth empowerment summit on the 11th of August 2016.

Tagged “what is your hand: A STRATEGIC TOOL”, the summit will reward over 20 promising Nigerian youths with career building mentorship in their aspiring field of focus.

OSMD Network, a non-profit organisation dedicated to Nigerian youths will via the OSMD youth empowerment summit improve the quality of life of hard-working and determined young minds across Nigeria.

The event, which will hold at the Conference Hall, Mauve 21, Ring road, Ibadan, Oyo state, promises to be fulfilling.

 

Heavyweight integrated marketing communications expert Tunji Olugbodi and CEO and business mogul Ubong King are the keynote speakers at the event. Multi-talented entertainer and entrepreneur Dbanj and experienced stand-up comedian TEE-A are the MCs. While award-winning writer and filmmaker, Chris Ihidero will moderate the panel discussion.

Steve Babaeko, Ayeni Adekunle, Funke Bucknor-Obruthe, Akin Oyebode, Tosin Ajibade, Fashie Fizzie, Ali Baba, and Gbenga Adeyinka will take part in the panel discussions.  

 

Steve Babaeko is an award-winning prolific creative writer, brand development professional and multi-platform media influencer. He leads an army of new generation marketing communication firms; X3M Ideas and 7Interactive plus X3M music.

 

Ayeni Adekunle is a renowned journalist, PR expert and businessman. He is the founder/chairman of BHM Group, parent company of BlackHouse Media, Nigerian Entertainment Today and IDAfrica.

 

Funke Bucknor-Obruthe is a PR expert, event planner extraordinaire and CEO of Zapphaire Events. Tosin Ajibade is a notable social media publicist and founder of Olorisupergal.

 

Fashie Fizzie is a top Nigerian photographer, fashion trendsetter and streetwise businessman. Akin Oyebode is an astute civil servant, banker, social commentator, strategist, creative and original thinker. He is the pioneer executive secretary of the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund.

 

Ali Baba is a veteran Nigerian comedian generally known as the first real stand-up comic in Nigeria. He is popularly known as the father of Nigerian comedy known to have mentored a number of Nigerian comedians.

 

Gbenga Adeyinka is a comedian and versatile MC. He is the publisher of Nigeria’s first comedy magazine, LaffMattazz Magazine.

 

Speaking on the maiden edition of the summit, the Founder, OSMD Network, and Convener, OSMD Network Youth Empowerment Summit, Abisoye Fagade remarked,

 

“The youths are the engine rooms of any moving and prosperous economy and as such we must empower them with all necessary supports to help them discover their true potentials, putting them to use for the benefits of themselves and their immediate environments.”

 

For seat reservations, participants are expected to register on OSMD’s official website, www.osmdnetwork.com. Registration and attendance is free.
