If reports by the family of legendary producer, OJB Jezreel is anything to go by, then it appears majority of the producer’s colleagues and friends in the industry are only playing to the gallery and trying to get cheap publicity from the death of the beat maker by wailing all over the internet.
It has been revealed that there have been very little or no presence of a famous Nigerian Artiste in the producer’s home since the incident. A closed friend told yours truly (who went to sympathize with the family on behalf of staff and members of OloriSuperGal) ‘Shei you dey watch television na, have you heard in the news that any of them came here?‘
It will be recalled that OloriSuperGal was one of the first sources to report OJB’s death barely 30 minutes after the tragedy.
Emotions have continued to run high at the Gbaja Street, Surulere, Lagos, residence of late talented music producer and singer, Babatunde Okungbowa a.k.a ‘OJB Jezreel’ following his demise two days ago.
The respected music producer, who passed away in the early hours of Tuesday, had battled with a kidney disease for some time before he eventually had a transplant in India in 2013. His kidney again completely failed last week and he was on dialysis to overcome the relapse before he died on Tuesday.
However, family members and friends of OJB are not happy with the colleagues of the deceased in the entertainment industry. Investigation revealed that many of OJB’s close friends and neighbors are bitter, as they accuse the legendary producer’s colleagues of abandoning him to his fate in the last days of his life.
According to family member at OJB’s residence who spoke to a media house on the condition of anonymity, the entertainment industry is full of fake friends and fake love.
He also said that the lion share of the funds raised to foot the bill of OJB’s kidney transplant in India about three years ago, didn’t come from the entertainment industry.
