We are just 15 days into the New Year and we’ve seen never before witnessed beefs in the Nigeria music industry seems we are in for a big year of controversy in entertainment industry in 2016.
First it was Olamide and Don Jazzy on New Year’s Day as the two respected music legends go head to head over the winner of the coveted Headies Next Rated Category. Then to Davido vs Cynthia Morgan in another war of words.
But, beefs has never gone bloody except this new one involving Starboy, Wizkid and Hypertek star, Dammy Krane
We all thought it was over Yesterday when Dammy Krane apologized to his fans publicly and declared his respect for Wizkid maintaining there was no hard feelings.
In the midst of that, reports surfaced this morning that, Wizkid who kept mum throughout the drama, allegedly stormed into popular club Quilox last night and broke bottles on Dammy Krane’s head in a physical battle.
Now Dami Marshall, the daughter of fuji icon Kwam 1 Ayinde Marshall, has revealed she has proof that Wizkid did steal Dammy Krane’s songs, claiming that she has a recording from the day WIzkid and Dammy Krane met at the studio. She also accused MMMG’s Iyanya of stealing Dammy Krane’s song in the past.
Dami, who is a lawyer and currently taking her masters in intellectual property law, has stated that she will be coming for ‘gurus of plagiarism’ in the industry once she is done with her Masters.
