The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has disclosed that three of Nigeria’s refineries now produce a joint total of 6.76 million litres of petrol daily.
The Kaduna, Warri and Port Harcourt refineries which recently resumed production after a three month shut down are projected to produce 10 million litres by the end of the month.
The recent development was confirmed by Ohi Alegbe, NNPC’s Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division.
The NNPC is battling to put an end to one of Nigeria’worst fuel scarcity in years and is also trying to ensure that scarcities become a thing of the past.
