Following the death of the All Progressives Congress Kogi state Governorship Candidate, Prince Abubakar Audu, uncertainty in public space began as a result of what INEC would do next.
The substantive results of the election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) were deemed inconclusive.
However, INEC disclosed in a press statement today the the APC would be allowed to field a candidate in the late Prince Audu’s stead and would let the elections go on.
INEC has also slated supplementary elections for December 5 for voting in 91 pilling units.
