The French Week 2015 and the 30th Anniversary of the Franco-Nigerian Chamber of Commerce & Institute kicked off last Friday 20 November, 2015 with Beaujolais Nouveau Celebrations.
The Beaujolais nouveau is a red wine made from Gamay grapes produced in the Beaujolais region of France. The Beaujolais Nouveau day is celebrated worldwide on the third Thursday of November, annually and the Franco-Nigerian Chamber of Commerce & Institute the first day of its French Week with this celebration.
The Beaujolais Nouveau is now being followed by an Economic Summit on Tuesday, 24 November 2015 at Foods of Sun Hall at the Eko Hotels & Suites.
A Gala Dinner at the Grand Ballroom of the Eko Hotels & Suites on Friday 27 November will serve as the finale for the action packed 2015 French Week. The Gala Dinner will feature a world class fashion show with world class designers.
Other side attractions at the 2015 French Week will be live music, dance, an Art Exhibition and a raffle draw where a return ticket to France offered by Air France serves as the grand prize.
