Members of the Nigerian are scheduled to be trained on the use of Facebook and other social media in an effort communicate effectively on the twin issues of public policy and governance.
The training is to take place next week and will be conducted by Facebook Africa’s Head Of Policy and is said to be in line with the Senate’s mission to improve their communication with the electorate through the use of technology.
While it seems like a good idea, one has to wonder how much of the taxpayers money will go to making sure our elected representatives learn how to use Facebook.
