The Turkish capital of Ankara yesterday was rocked with powerful explosions as hundreds of people turned out for a peace rally.
The explosion was suspected to have been triggered by two suicide bombers and 200 people are also reportedly injured.
Thousands of people turned up today at another rally to mourn as the Turkish prime minister, Ahmet Davutoglu declared three days of national mourning.
Turkey has been carrying out airstrikes against ISIL and PKK positions in Syria as a result of terrorist attacks in Turkey and yesterday’s attack has already been linked to ISIL.
