Over 5 cities covered across the African continent, Arese Ugwu is now having a stop at the heart of the southernmost part.
Johannesburg, the largest city in South Africa and one of the 50 largest urban areas in the world, is privileged enough, even more so considered a stop by the moving train of the smart woman book tour initiatives.
The tour which in September kicked off in the Africa’s largest city of Ibadan (Nigeria) -at the House of Tara store- is exposing her first book titled The Smart Money Woman, and has since stopped at places in Uyo, Warri. Abuja, Lagos and Accra.
Going around the world looks fun though, only Arese is passion driven towards taking her rich intellectual property to the space of possibilities; people and places, even the creeks.
With years of vast experience in wealth management, Arese had carved her capital brilliance into a fictional book titled The Smart Money Woman: An African Girl’s Journey to Financial Freedom where she depict the financial tale of woes and success of four Lagos girls (friends). Nonetheless the book offers practical steps, advice and solutions for a number of financial issues from investment and debt to budgeting and entrepreneurship.
Now in Johannesburg, SA, the book symposium held at Luminance, Hyde Park on the 9th of November 2016, attracted different women from different spheres of the (SA) country. The event featured book readings, meet-and-greets, book signing, Question & Answer sessions, and conversations over cocktails.
Dr Judy Dlamini gave a speech yesterday at the book tour also commending Arese Ugwu, who is a young author, talking about finance to young African women.
Overall, the book has generated a massive positive review from the guests in attendance at the S.A tour stop.
