MTV Base (DStv channel 322) will be heating up your screens this July with Ridiculousness Africa – a brand new video clip showing featuring bizarre video clips of crazy antics, shocking stunts and eccentric exploits from some of the internet’s craziest clowns.
Embrace your own inner Ridiculousness as Nigerian comedian Basketmouth, is joined by South African actor and comedian Thomas Gumede, and gorgeous TV personality Boity Thulo, with a special guest appearance by Ycee in the first episode of the series, premiering on Friday 29 July at 6.00 pm.
Future episodes of Ridiculousness Africa will feature big name celebrities including DJ Nasty C, South African actress Nomzamo Mbatha and TV & radio personality Dineo Ranaka.
Ridiculousness Africa puts some hilarious local flava on the Rob Dyrdek-fronted US comedy show, and carries the warning ‘Don’t Try This at Home!” The show celebrates the brave, fun-loving, light-hearted and unapologetically foolish men and women who are prepared to risk life and limb – all in the interest of achieving 15 seconds of fleeting fame on the internet.
