Renowned comedienne, actor and content creator Anita Asuoha better known as Real Warri Pikin recently shared some things about her life and the massive she has witnessed over the last few years.
During her conversation with Saturday Beats, Real Warri Pikin revealed some things that she recently learnt how to say and do that she wished she picked up on them earlier in her life and since joining the entertainment industry.
“I wish I learnt how to say no” – Real Warri Pikin
Anita Asuoha noted in the chat that she wished she knew how to say no or learnt how to place boundaries earlier in her life. She noted that she started learning how to manage space and boundaries better just a couple of years back.
She said,
“I wish I knew how to say the word “no” earlier enough. I learnt it so late. If I knew how to say it earlier than two years ago, many things wouldn’t have happened. But of course, I am still grateful for where I am today.”
“Women should trust their instincts more” – Real Warri Pikin
The comedienne also gave her thoughts about the trending story of a man who murdered his wife for not cooking for him. She slammed the act and explained how women can better protect themselves in the modern age.

Real Warri Pikin also shared advice that she believes women should practise more which she said would help protect them against such callous acts by some men.
Speaking on how women can better protect themselves and still be heard in society she said:
“I just feel like women should be more careful because all these killings will not stop. We just need to devise our own way of dealing with them. We should listen to our instincts more as women. If some things are not necessary, do not do them or take those steps. Choose your battles, and focus on the things that are important and true.
“Also, don’t trust so easily, and that’s why most of us are affected. What I mean is that nobody can make you feel bad without your consent. You have control over how you think but one thing we need to know is that we do not have control of how people might treat or make us feel.”
Real Warri Pikin also spoke about her foundation and how they would be celebrating the next International Women’s Day in Abia state.
