Nigerian TikTok personality Habeeb Hamzat, known as Peller, says he wants to marry his partner, Jarvis, to break a family pattern of unmarried relationships.

The content creator shared his reason during an appearance on The Honest Bunch Podcast. He explained that his parents never got married, a fact that shaped his view of marriage.

“My parents did not get married, but I said I would break that curse. Me, I must get married,” he said.

Peller said he informed his parents about his plan to marry Jarvis. However, they did not take him seriously at first.

“I told my parents that I want to get married, but they did not take it seriously,” he said.

He also said he has made his intentions clear to Jarvis and remains committed to marrying her.

“I told her that I will marry her,” he said.

Peller and Jarvis, whose real name is Amadou Elizabeth Aminata, have built one of Nigeria’s most talked-about social media relationships.

In June, Peller proposed to Jarvis during a romantic outing in Accra, Ghana. A video of the proposal quickly went viral online and drew reactions from fans.

The couple later announced that they will marry on August 1, 2026. They have already started preparations for the ceremony.

Their wedding plans continue to attract attention from followers who have closely watched their relationship on social media.
