Victony’s sophomore album, ‘Starlife’, has debuted at No. 20 on the Billboard World Albums chart, earning the Nigerian singer his first appearance on the ranking.
The 15-track album, released on August 21, marks a new milestone in Victony’s career and follows the growing recognition of his music beyond Nigeria.
‘Starlife’ features collaborations with BNXN, Blaqbonez, YKB, Babyboy AV, Young Jonn and Fola. The project also includes previously released tracks such as ‘Fre$h’ and ‘Slick’, alongside ‘Too Lit’, ‘Who This’, ‘STARLIFE’, ‘Pino’, ‘Fyne’, ‘Clear’, ‘2Fresh’, ‘Armed & Dangerous’, ‘Can Juice’, ‘Missin Piece’, ‘Twin’, ‘Amazon’ and ‘Typo’.
The album is Victony’s second studio project after his 2024 debut album, ‘Stubborn’. It also follows his 2025 eight-track EP, ‘Very Stubborn’.
Born Anthony Victor, Victony gained wider attention after featuring on Mayorkun’s 2021 hit ‘Holy Father’.
He later released ‘Soweto’ with producer Tempoe in May 2022. The song became one of his biggest hits and received remixes featuring Omah Lay, Rema and Don Toliver.
Victony began his career as a rapper before broadening his sound to incorporate R&B, trap and Afropop.
