USA beats France 97-79 in Berlin to secure a fifth consecutive FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup title. France started brilliantly and built a 14-point advantage during a stunning first-half performance.
Gabby Williams led France’s early charge with aggressive scoring and impressive defensive pressure. The French side entered halftime with a narrow 45-43 lead over the defending champions.
