Reports indicate that a majority of the passengers aboard a hijacked EgyptAir aircraft have been released following negotiations with the hijackers.

The Egyptian ministry of aviation disclosed that the Airbus 320 EgyptAir flight, designated MS181, had at least 81 people on board and 65 of those passengers have been released.

Seven members of crew and four foreigners are still being held hostage as negotiations continue.
