In what will count as one of the most bizarre cabinet positions in the world the United Arab Emirates has created a ministry of state for happiness.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the prime minister, ruler of Dubai and the vice president of the UAE announced the appointment of Ohood Al Roumi as The minister of happinness on Twitter.
