Calls have been made to several churches in Nigeria to donate their church halls as isolation centres, especially since the cases of Covid-19 pandemic in Nigeria keep rising. This call was made by Pastor Tunde Bakare after he donated two church buildings to the government as isolation centers.
It has also been reported that the Catholic Bishops have donated over 400 hospitals to be used as isolation centers in the nation. Despite the ban on social gatherings, churches are still giving their resources to the government in the fight against the Coronavirus pandemic.
This therefore means that the ban has not stopped the churches from playing a significant role in the fight against Covid-19. Other churches who have facilities that can be used as isolation centers are also encouraged to offer their facilities or probably give any other resource in the fight against the pandemic.
