Super Falcons new jersey has officially been unveiled ahead of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, celebrating Nigeria’s unmatched continental dominance proudly. .Every star represents one championship won between 1998 and 2024, highlighting the Super Falcons’ remarkable legacy in African women’s football history. Nigeria debuted the new jersey during a 2-1 international friendly victory against Tanzania on July 23 before the continental tournament begins.
The confidence-boosting win provided valuable preparation as the Super Falcons finalised plans for the 2026 WAFCON in Morocco. The competition officially kicks off on July 26, with Nigeria aiming to reclaim the African title after previous tournament disappointments.
The Super Falcons remain Africa’s most successful women’s national team, winning ten continental championships and consistently reaching the tournament’s final stages. Players and supporters welcomed the symbolic design, describing the stars as a powerful reminder of Nigeria’s rich football heritage and success.
Super Falcons new jersey also reflects the team’s ambition to secure an unprecedented eleventh Women’s Africa Cup of Nations championship this summer.
