Spider-Man: Brand New Day has surpassed $2 billion worldwide, becoming the highest-grossing Spider-Man film ever after three weekends. The Tom Holland-led blockbuster reached approximately $2.022 billion globally, including $785.8 million domestically and over $1.2 billion internationally.
That achievement pushes Brand New Day beyond Spider-Man: No Way Home, which previously held the franchise record with $1.92 billion. Remarkably, the superhero sequel reached the $2 billion milestone within 21 days, becoming cinema history’s second-fastest movie to achieve it.
Only Avengers: Endgame reached the same milestone faster, crossing $2 billion worldwide after just 11 days following release. Meanwhile, Brand New Day becomes only the eighth movie ever to surpass $2 billion worldwide, joining cinema’s most successful blockbusters.
The film opened strongly with $927 million globally, then crossed $1 billion worldwide only six days after its theatrical release. Its third weekend added another $70 million domestically, lifting North American earnings to approximately $785.8 million overall.
Beyond franchise records, the movie currently stands as Sony Pictures’ highest-grossing film, surpassing the studio’s previous global box-office achievements. The blockbuster’s extraordinary performance also places it among the decade’s biggest comic-book movies, reflecting enormous global demand.
For Tom Holland, the achievement further strengthens his position as one of Hollywood’s most successful contemporary superhero stars worldwide. As Spider-Man: Brand New Day continues playing globally, its box-office momentum could push the movie toward even bigger milestones.
