Actress Uzo Aduba has revealed that she asked her prom date to be her date for last night’s SAG awards.

After taking home a trophy for best comedic TV actress for her role as Crazy Eyes in Orange Is The New Black, and blowing the audience away with her moving acceptance speech, Aduba shared the backstory behind her date for the evening, and one seriously adorable then-and-now mash up.

“He asked me to the prom, I said yes. I asked him to SAGs, he said yes. #sagawards”.
