Nigerian singer, Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, popularly known as Skales, has voiced his concern over the declining trust in government institutions.

In a recent post on his X account, Skales expressed dismay that many Nigerians now rely on activists such as VeryDarkMan (VDM) to seek justice, rather than turning to the government.

He wrote, “It’s crazy what is going on in Nigeria… imagine where the citizens cannot run to the government but to a fellow citizen like VDM for help.
