Simi, who many believe is in a relationship with rapper and BET Awards winner, Falz has come out to clear the air that she has nothing to do with Falz as regards relationship and also hinted that she has a man already.
In the interview with Punch, Simi drew a clearer line about her relationship with the rapper, by mentioning that her current boyfriend is quite understanding with her plight.
She said:
“Falz and I are just friends, my man is mature and understands the fact that I may be erroneously romantically linked with an artiste simply because we work on music projects together”, she said.
She also said she doesn’t see herself going back to doing Gospel music which was what she began with, she said:
“(For me) Music became about ‘more’, I wanted to have a broader purview. It was a tough decision for me to make at first.”
“However, my faith in God hasn’t waivered because I went mainstream, I prayed to God to bless my career if it was his plan for me. I also don’t see myself doing gospel music again”.
Simi who began her career in 2006, only came to the limelight recently after remixing popular hits bu Rihanna and Adele. Also she seems to be the ‘one and only’ choice of Falz, the Bahd Guy when it comes to collaborating with a female artiste, leading to insinuations that they may be dating.
