Despite the state’s restrictions on her rally and travel, Nigerian singer and activist Charly Boy has praised Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan’s courageous decision to appear at her homecoming rally in Kogi Central via helicopter.

However, the controversial artist shamed people who attempted to stop her rally from happening by sharing a photo of Natasha on Instagram to promote her cause.

“Shame to those who blocked the road for Natasha and forgot that the sky is too wide for the beautiful bird to land and take off. Yeye people, una don see wetin pass una. Shameless men. Ur Fada’s.”

Charly Boy, who has been outspoken in his support of the troubled senator, generated responses in the comments area of his article.

However, this occurs in the midst of the senator’s legal dispute over the sexual harassment claims against Senate President Akpabio.

Soon after, Natasha, a member of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), was suspended from the Senate for six months on suspicion of breaking rules.

She also faces the possibility of recall following her accusation, which is allegedly supported by members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

She defied limitations and barricades by arriving on the grounds by helicopter even though she had been advised to cancel her demonstration.

However, sheering slogans in support of her, she was greeted by joyful supporters.

“My dear people of Kogi Central, I look forward to our PEACEFUL Sallah celebrations today,” she posted on Facebook earlier that morning. However, should we be met with or infiltrated by violence, Nigerians should hold Gov Ododo, Yahaya Bello & SP Godswill Akpabio wholly responsible,” she said at the rally
