Seven-Up Bottling Company (SBC) rewarded Lagos schools with N5 million during its 2024 Sustainability Week, focused on promoting circular economy and environmental stewardship.

The highlight was the Green-Skill Schools Challenge, where 18 finalists showcased innovative projects like upcycled products.

Three schools won cash prizes: N1 million for first place, N500,000 for second, and N250,000 for third.

An additional N1.5 million in consolation prizes and N110,000 grants were awarded to participants, courtesy of SBC, Zenith Bank, and Lagos Waste Management Academy.

The event featured partnerships with organizations like LAWMA Academy and NESREA, supporting further training in green skills.

SBC’s efforts were lauded by Lagos State officials, emphasizing the importance of sustainability education.
