The office of the Senate President has released a statement denying the media reports claiming that the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management has allocated N-power recruitment slots to the Senate President and the other lawmakers. The Senate President has also urged the public to disregard such false information in its entirety.

The statement which was signed by the Special Adviser on Media to the Senate President, Ola Awoniyi, has been uploaded on the Senate President’s Twitter page.
