Canon has set another significant milestone in its overall growth strategy to expand in Africa. The globally acclaimed imaging company organized an event to celebrate its plan to strengthen its presence in Nigeria by establishing a Canon office and announcing their network of partners.
At a press conference held on Friday, 7th of October 2016 , Canon Europe – B2C Sales Development & Marketing Director, Koji Sato stated “We have to succeed in Africa and we won’t be able to do so without being in Nigeria,”
To wrap up the day, an exclusive dinner held at the Grand Ball Room, Oriental Hotel, played host to film makers, the tech savvy, renowned photographers like Kelechi Amadi-Obi & Obi Somto, Canon Channel Partners and other business owners. The event was hosted by broadcaster and journalist, Keturah King and the guests were treated to a three course meal and performances by Isaac Geralds (Project Fame), Tekno, Waje and others. A few lucky guests also walked away with Canon printers.
