Sabrina Carpenter has won her first Emmy for Outstanding Variety Special (Pre-Recorded), thanks to The Muppet Show’s victory. The pop star shared the award as an executive producer and performer on the Disney+ special. Her Emmy marks another major milestone across entertainment.
The Muppet Show won the category during the 2026 Creative Arts Emmys. Carpenter joined an ensemble featuring Kermit, Miss Piggy, Gonzo, Seth Rogen, and Maya Rudolph.
Released in February, the special celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Muppet franchise. Throughout the programme, Carpenter delivered musical performances while joining the Muppets for comedy.

Additionally, the production earned recognition for Outstanding Picture Editing for Variety Programming. Carpenter’s achievement adds an Emmy to her latest accolades.Previously, she earned Grammy recognition. Now, her latest accomplishment brings Carpenter closer to EGOT.
