Bad Meets Evil and Slaughterhouse rapper, Royce Da 5’9 has ruffled a few feathers by confirming an already well known allegation.

Meek Mill and Drake’s beef started off when Meek Mill accused Drake of hiring Ghostwriters. Meek Mill promptly got buried in layers of social media flak as well as those really average Drake disses, did I mention he also got roasted by 50 Cent?

In fairness though, no one seems to have responded to Meek’s original allegation until now. Speaking to Vlad TV, Royce Da 5’9 admitted to have been shocked by Meek Mill’s allegations at first.

When he was asked if it knocks Drake out of being considered a top lyricist, he answered; “The rules do have to change a little bit when you’re ranking these artists, where they stand as best lyricists… To me a lyricist is a writer, You automatically can’t be a lyricist if you’re not writing everything.”
