Nigeria’s shoddy preparations for the ongoing Rio Olympics in Brazil came to the full glare of the world on Friday when the country’s athletes to the event marched past in tracksuits instead of the official traditional attires during the opening ceremony.

Nigeria, marching in sweats because official outfits didn’t make it to Rio. Can we agree that they’re a country to pull for these two weeks?

This faux pas did not go unnoticed as one twitter handle by the name Alexander Wolff @alexander_wolff observed: ”Nigeria marching in sweats because official outfits didn’t make it to Rio. Can we agree that they’re a country to pull for these two weeks?”

So, who delayed Nigeria’s official attires to the Olympics and caused us this big embarassment?
