Real Madrid football club have sacked head coach Rafa Benitez.

Benitez’s future was cast into even more doubt after Real Madrid lost to Valencia yesterday.

Benitez’s inability to win the “big matches” has seen him receive the chop.
He will be replaced by former Real Madrid player Zinedine Zidane.

Rafa Benitez was appointed in the summer and has not spent a full season at the Spanosh club.
