The Presidential Taskforce on COVID-19, has advised worship centres across the country to keep detailed records of their worshippers, including contact addresses, among new advisories approved by the government.
National Coordinator of the Taskforce, Sani Aliyu, gave the advice on Tuesday during the taskforce briefing in Abuja, while listing conditions for congregational worship

Recall that the PTF, on the directive of President Muhammadu Buhari, on Monday lifted the restriction placed on places of worship as a measure to contain the spread of the Coronavirus.
Sani noted that, though the government was not recommending that people should go to places of worship ,but if they must go, they must follow the guidelines of the PTF in order to make it safe.
Sani said โPlaces of worship should keep detailed records of their worshippers, including contact addresses.This is to make it easy for contact tracing.โ Some of the guidelines and conditions by the PTF for reopening places of worship include โAll worshipers must sanitise their hands, wear facemasks, practice social distancing.
Frequent cleaning and disinfection of places of worship are advised.
