Embattled singer Habeeb Olalomi Badmus, aka Portable, was earlier today, February 20, 2025, arraigned in court for 5 charges bordering on conspiracy, assault, restriction and conduct likely to cause harm.
Clips of the singer walking into the Magistrate court in Abeokuta, barely 24 hours after he turned himself in at the Lagos SCID Panti.
In a video on social media, the Zeh Nation boss and some of his men were seen walking into the courtroom.
The singer was arraigned before the court this morning, Thursday, February 20, 2025, on five-count charges bordering on conspiracy, assault, restriction, armed with cutlasses and guns, and conduct likely to cause harm.
He pleaded not guilty to the charges. Nine of his aides were arraigned for similar charges before Magistrate O L Oke.
Below are the names of the nine suspects arraigned in court including Portable; Nurudeen Warris, 21, Adetola Alashe, 25, Samuel Adeleke, 28, Oluwaseun Ayenuwa, 19, Oluwapelumi Adeosun, 20, Gospel Kanu, 20, Precious Ohiegebo, 19, Ifeoluwa Babatunde, 27, and Fatimo Muhammed, 26.

The defendants were arraigned on a five-count charge bordering on felony, assault, and restriction, armed with cutlasses and guns, conduct likely to cause breach of peace, intending to kill.
They allegedly assaulted, restricted, and obstructed one Abidemi Onabanjo, Ramon Lateef, and Akinpelumi Oyero who are town planners.
The defendants and Portable allegedly assaulted the three town planning officers, while performing their lawful duties at Odogwu Bar owned by Portable a popular hip-hop musician.
After pleading not guilty to the charges, his counsel, Oluwatoyin Ayodele, urged the court to grant him bail. His counsel told the court that the singer โis now remorseful and has learnt his lessons.โ
Magistrate O L Oke granted N2m bail with one surety in the like sum and adjourned the case till March 5 for trial.
He was wearing a blue denim that looked so much like an overall worn by inmates as he walked into the station. The music star was followed by two men and a policewoman.
People who pleaded for Portable
A few people, who were concerned about Portable, had pleaded on his behalf after he was declared wanted by the police. His first wife, Bewaji shared a post on her Instagram story asking fans to have mercy on her husband.
She also shared the reason the music star should be forgiven. A white woman also made a video to ask that Portable’s Odogwu bar should be reopened. She suggested that it was better that Portable should be forgiven.
Portable’s 5th baby mama, Ashabi Simple, almost landed in the hospital. Her blood pressure shot up, and a compressor had to be used to cool her body down.
