Omowunmi Dada’s sculpted gold and black gown was quite the TIFF red carpet look as the Nollywood actress attended the world premiere of The Secret Lives of Baba Segi’s Wives at the Toronto International Film Festival.
“Clear road” for the leading lady of Baba Segi! Dada arrived in a custom Somobysomo gown styled by ZackStyling Luxury.
The gown stood out with its fitted shape, metallic details and sweeping train. It featured a strapless bodice that hugged her figure before opening into a mermaid silhouette.
A striking gold and black design
The black gown came with gold and bronze geometric appliqués. The metallic details formed mosaic-like patterns across the waist and skirt.
The design helped highlight the shape of the gown. It also added texture to the dark base.

The bodice featured a sweetheart neckline and sculpted spiral embroidery across the bust. Sheer panels created negative space around the design.
At the back, the gown had a low keyhole detail and thin cross-straps. A centre zip ran down into the long train.
Gold and green accessories
Styled by ZackStyling Luxury, Dada kept her accessories within the gown’s gold and green palette.
She wore statement earrings shaped like gold leaves with deep-green stones. She also added a matching oversized green gemstone ring and a gold filigree cuff bracelet.

The accessories added colour while keeping the focus on the detailed gown.
A polished beauty look
For her beauty look, Dada opted for a slicked-down low bun with precise edges. The hairstyle kept her neckline and shoulders clear.
Warm bronze eyeshadow, winged eyeliner, bronzed skin and a glossy nude lip completed her look.

With The Secret Lives of Baba Segi’s Wives making its Toronto International Film Festival debut, Dada brought a distinctly Nigerian fashion presence to the international red carpet.
