Super Eagles gaffer, Sunday Oliseh was the subject of national discourse yesterday. Sunday Oliseh became a trending topic in Nigeria following his allegation that Nigerians were using “witchcraft” to sabotage his efforts.

He went ahead to call out his critics on his YouTube page, calling them “insane”. Sunday Oliseh came under criticism after the Super Eagles crashed out from the African Nation Championship.

Goal reports that Oliseh has tendered an apology to the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF).

A member of his backroom staff said, “He just sent a letter of apology apologizing to everyone for his utterances and that he is sorry that he never wanted to attack the NFF or embarrass them,

He was just hurt and wanted the whole world to know that we have not been given money and he is also frustrated due to the high attacks on him and his crew.”

The NFF has not confirmed the receipt of the letter.
